Lapsang Souchong

A rich tea with an intense smoked wood flavour. Lapsang Souchong is the classic smoked tea with an aroma that can gently fill an entire room with its lovely smouldering wood fragrance. Drinking this tea is like drinking a rich sensuous liquid smoke.

Unlike our Tarry Souchong, the smoked wood flavours dominate the black tea. Broad (souchong) leaves are smoked over open pine or cedar wood fires before being rolled. The tea is then smoked a second time giving it a powerful aroma and taste.
