antique tea service

An Indian “spiced tea” made from a rich Assam black tea and blended with ginger, cinnamon, fennel, pepper, cloves and aniseed spices. Superb on a winters day and traditionally made with both milk and sugar.

In may parts of the world the word “chai” simply refers to tea (it comes from the Chinese word chá). In the UK, it is generally taken to mean the Indian spiced tea or masala chai. This version is a gentle blend of tea and spices that has a warming character and sensational aroma.
