Ding Gu Da Fang

A famous intense green tea from China, Ding Gu Da Fang has an incredibly luscious crisp greens and cheastnut-like taste. Its grassy bouquet hints of fresh cut flowers and toasted brioche.

Produced since the Song Dynasty (960-1280) Ding Gu Da Fang is named after the Buddhist monk (Da Fang) who developed its unique harvesting and processing. It has large folded leaves that reveal small streaks of black when they unfurl. The leaves are gently picked in Spring in the An Hui province of China. This is a wonderful strong green tea in a class of its own.
