Chun Mee

Chun Mee

A very popular Chinese green tea with a fresh, grassy flavour and gentle tart edge. This is the tea you are most likely to encounter in the streets of Hong Kong, and it is a great all round Chinese green.

Chun Mee is steamed rather than pan fried to halt the oxidisation process. The budding leaves are then hand rolled into thin needle shapes with a slight curve (leading some to call it "eyebrow tea").
