If you enjoy the rich black Ceylon teas, yet want something that won't keep you awake, this is an excellent choice. It retains the mildly citrus flavour characteristic of Ceylon teas but lacks caffeine.
Sri Lanka is currently the third largest tea growing nation in the world. Its tea plantations were established by the British in the late 19th century. Very soon afterwards, the famous Scot, Thomas Lipton, began to import Ceylon tea into Britain. It has since become one of the most popular teas, especially for breakfast blends.
