This tea from the Mokalbari estate of the Assam region of India has a wonderful depth of flavour and a rich, dark colour. It is a prime example of the cherished and classic Assam tea flavours, with deep malt tones and a crisp fresh taste.

This Assam tea is full-bodied and although superb on its own, it also goes well with milk, cream or lemon. Sugar or honey may be added prior to adding milk. Adding milk to tea is often viewed as being very British, however the practice was first recorded in 17th-century, Manchu dynasty, China.
